A FB friend lost his brother unexpectedly. Very sad. He's been posting pictures of a tattoo he and the brother's wife got to memorialize him.
Now, he posted a pic on his FB that he spray painted the symbol from the tattoo on the overpass in our hometown.
25 people have liked it so far. I can't be the only one thinking, "ummm, I get that you're grieving. But defacing public property and posting it on facebook is probably not in your best interest."
I can't be the only one thinking this is disgraceful, right?

You aren't the only one..... and it isn't outside the realm of possibilities that he could be charged with the crime if those pictures make it to the wrong person....

I think it's tasteless. I agree that he's grieving, but if that's the type of thing everyone did while grieving, this world would be a pallet of random spray paintings.

This. I am always surprised at what people post on FB, so many things that can get them into legal trouble...
But yes, it's stupid of him to publicly announce that he's the one who did that.
Plus, the fact that he's sad doesn't give him the right to just destroy someone else's property. Tons of neighborhoods by me look like shit because they're covered in graffiti by people who want to express themselves and tell the world how displeased they are with their situation in life.
