The girls at work always dress up together the Friday before Halloween. This year we are going to be beauty queens and I am making sashes for each of us with our "title" on them. Last year we were stewardesses, Pan Am. DH and I are also going to a costume party as Snooki and Jiovanni. I am totally buying a tanned baby! I love Halloween!
I haven't dressed up in years. I had no idea how hard it would be to find a work appropriate (middle school) costume! Every single thing I saw this weekend was extremely slutty. I guess I'll have to make something from scratch.
We get very few trick or treaters as it is and we'll have a newborn, so I'm keeping the candy for myself this year. Bah humbug. My friend is going as Robin Sparkles though, which is awesome in my opinion.

No idea. But it have to be: 1. Work appropriate as we're having a chili cookoff/halloween costume/pumpkin carving contest 2. PG for handing out candies to the neighborhood kids 3. Can be altered to be a tad bit sluttier for if/when we go out with the adults later that night/that weekend
Halloween is a day when I cower in my apartment and pretend that the shitshow outside doesn't exist. So no costume for me
We'll also leave our candy outside our door because I don't want a constant doorbell scaring the kitties (and because we may not be home when many of the kids come by).
I feel like a bad sport, but Halloween here is a mess.
I LOVE Halloween. I'm already thinking of what I'll be next year.
I'm going to Vegas next weekend (woo!) and I'll be dressing up as Storm, from X-MEN. I'm doing the punk Storm with a mo-hawk. I'll be either doing a zombie Storm or zombie prom date for the Zombie Walk on Friday.
For work we (my department) are dressing as Lumberjacks. I picked up some overalls and a plaid shirt for $7 this weekend.

I love Halloween! DH and I aren't very creative though so our costumes are boring.
I was finally able to find a cute (and not slutty) bumblebee costume for a good price. DH is going to dress up as a amish man. He's just wearing an old button up shirt, pants, suspenders, and a hat he got from Goodwill with his work boots.
We won't dress up to take the kids TOTing since it's usually freezing here. Their costumes are warm; ours aren't. We do have a Halloween party that we're going to with our friends though.
I don't know. I suck at halloween. my freshman year of college I wanted to be a mime (had a black dress and heels, white gloves, and was going to do face makeup). I got too drunk with pre-celebrations that I couldn't do my makeup. I was nothing.
I feel like I've just given up since then and put in little or no effort at the last minute to figure something out.

Nothing for actual Halloween probably.
We are going to a wedding the weekend before and costumes are encouraged. I feel weird going to a wedding in full-fledged costume so I think I'm just going to grab a pretty mask and maybe a feather boa or something like that to wear with my dress. I'm boring.

We're doing a group costume of cowboys/girls vs. indians for a party/benefit we're going to one night. We're going to a house party another night, so I might wear my same costume or go through our costume bin for something different.
DD does trick or treating in our little downtown, and we don't dress up for that.
I'm just going to wear a fascinator. That's what I've done for the last few years. It works well, it's work appropriate and can easily be removed if something comes up.
DD is going to be a flamingo, so DH and I are going to be bird watchers. (khaki vest, hat, binoculars)
Such a cute idea! I was a tomato the Halloween that I was 3 and my mom dressed up as a farmer. Don't ask me why I wanted to be a tomato but that's what I kept telling my mom that I wanted to be and she had my aunt make me a tomato costume. I was a weird kid!
I don't dress up normally, but they're pushing it hard at work.
I won't be putting much effort or any money into it. I think I'll just wear my wedding dress, some sneakers, and put my hair up in a pony = Runnaway Bride. Done.
