I am doing some volunteer work helping people of all ages (several are older women) prepare for re-entering the work force. Does anyone have any easy to use sites that I can recommend to my "students" as part of a reference packet. I would love to have a list of websites that are useful. TIA
I haven't seen one that is fantastic. I would start checking Univeristy career services sites to see if you can find a good one.
Some things I would suggest as a hiring manager: --Don't use an objective--it's old fashioned --even if you have gaps, just list them clearly as they occurred, it looks like you are not hiding anything --don't list vague skills like "time management" or "communication". If you have specific skills like proficiency in Excel or are bilingual, do clearly list those.
