It hurts kind of on my right side near my ovary, and I had sex twice in the last week and he said he could feel it and it hurt him. Is it common for it to come out? WTF

You should have it checked. It might be fine. Some people have men that feel them and some don't. It depends on how long the strings are cut and I think body shape. I have a tipped uterus. My BF has never felt them during intercourse. He has only felt them a few times during finger play. If everything is in place the strings do tend to curl up and get softer over time. Most times I have to really search to find mine.
my dr office opens in 30 minutes so I will definitely go in
Yes, I did it. I had the sex. It had been two months and I couldn't wait any longer. And it was pretty freaking awesome. Both times. I had to go in with a machete first.
Go get it checked. I've been having a lot of pain in that same area for a few weeks and my IUD is still in place as of Friday. I am having an ultrasound done to see if it is something else like a cyst. I haven't had a guy say he could feel it. Could he have been feeling your strings? Those may need to get shortened if that is the case.

Would the strings hurt him?
The strings could hurt him if they poke him in just the right spot.
My BFF said her H could feel her IUD and it was indeed coming out...I would get it checked.
No judgement on who you have sex with...why is it anyone's business anyway? (stirring the pot maybe?)
Not stirring the pot at all. My concern if it is the XBF is that BK has come out NUMEROUS times talking about what bad news this dude is. It makes me concerned for her if it is the XBF. If it isn't, then I could care less. Go get your freak on.
Seriously?? You write about this on a board where people are concerned for you after you posted about your trainwreck XBF and then call us bored and nosey? Don't AW the fact that you had sex then or just call the doctor instead of posting.
The doctor's office was closed. I was concerned for my health and am in pain. I was not AWing having sex. I was mentioning it b/c it was relevant to my question.
I had something like that happen last month, I was in pain but it was not terrible. I had a pap scheduled for that week anyway, so they checked it and it was fine.

But then don't get all huffy (by calling us nosey and bored) when people ask who it was out of concern for you. Based on the fact that you write a lot of personal info on here so it wouldn't be off base to ask who it was.

I could care less who BK has sex with, but she is usually telling all in her posts. She seemed a little vague and I for one wondered why?
Because I am not concerned with who I had sex with. I am concerned about the pain I am in. That's the basis of my question. But the problem has been solved. I am going to the dr at 2:00
I appreciate all of the answers and concerns. I am sure they will be able to help me get it fixed.

Do you have an urgent care place close by? Or maybe go to the E room? I really would get that taken care of ASAP.
Do you think so? I have an appt at 2:00 and they didn't say anything about coming in right away. But they also didn't really ask any questions.

Yes, the strings are like fishing wire and they poke. H felt them the first time we had sex after having it inserted. You can have the strings trimmed if you would like. Yes, and IUD can come out of place, that may have happened, or you may have an ovarian cyst which are VERY common and can cause pain. Usually they go away on their own, but sometimes you need surgery. See your doctor.
As for the XBF, yeah, I hope it wasn't him, because you seem to have trouble quitting him and he is bad news bears. If it was, I hope it was just sex.

Gotcha. I am glad you are going to the doctor. Please let us know what you find out at the doctors. Also make sure to tell him about your partner feeling the strings.
