Yes, you can feel the strings even if it moves. Mine had shifted completely horizontal after having it four years (saw on x-ray) and caused severe cramping and back pain. I don't think it's am emergent issue but getting in for the pain is important.

This is my point. For someone who is always forthcoming, the fact that she hasn't denied it is telling.
