I posted a few weeks ago about a HS friend who found out her baby she was carrying had trisomy 13. She gave birth Friday evening at 32 weeks due to pre-e. The baby only lived a few hours. This seriously breaks my heart. I can't even imagine. Its been bugging me since I heard the baby was born. No one should ever have to go through something so unfair.
That is so sad. I cannot imagine. I hope they were able to spend those few hours holding her as a family. An old cw lost hers at 38.5 weeks bc the cord was around the neck. I cried thinking for days about what she was going through and she was in a diff dept so we weren't really that close even.
I'm so sorry. It is heartbreaking, i can't imagine the pain that involves. I have had 2 friends lose their babies, one very close to the end of the pregnancy and another within 1 hr of birth. It is awful and scarring for them to deal with. My recommendation is to drop off food if you can, I can't think of any other way to help. Or send an edible arrangement. My condolences.
