Ok, obviously I'm not going on an expensive vacation anytime soon. There's a Groupon deal for this place and I've been entertaining myself during lunch breaks by reading the TripAdvisor reviews.
Has anyone been? Any other Jamaica AI recs? There's a couple I have on my list for a "someday" trip or honeymoon.
Basically I just want to fantasize about some place warm and boozey right now. :drink:
There is this girl that posts on the the travel board and here..I think m+j who is a big fan of Couples resorts and could give you more info. Hopefully, she will come in. I have heard good things about the service.

I haven't been to Tower Isle but I did go to Couples Sans Souci & absolutely loved it! I don't have a single bad thing to say about it. We plan to go back to Jamaica & try another Couples resort when DD gets older & I'm more comfortable being away from her.
Our best couple friends went on their honeymoon there and loved it. We went to Couples Swept Away for ours. Super nice, but to be honest the resort we've been to in the DR is 90% as nice for 50% the cost.
I haven't been to Tower Isle, but H and I went to Couples Sans Souci for our honeymoon and LOVED IT. All of their resorts get great reviews so I don't think you can go wrong.

We went there for our honeymoon when it was still the old 'Couple Ocho Rios' name. We really liked it, and I would definitely go back if I had the opportunity. They have added some stuff since, which makes it even nicer, from what I hear.
We went to Tower Isle a few years ago for our honeymoon. The Couples brand has a very good reputation, and I chose Tower Isle of the four because it was the cheapest and had the most activities included.
I could go on and on about everything we loved about the trip. I don't have one negative thing to say about Tower Isle, or Couples. I think their strict no-tipping policy makes a big difference too. It really evens things out at an AI, when staff are not working harder for the bigger tippers.
My only advice would be to go in January, if you can. They have their anniversary party, which was a lot fun and the best meal I have ever had in my life.
We went to Couples Swept Away for our honeymoon and I was hugely disappointed. Based on all I had heard I thought it would be amazing. It was not. It wasn't awful, but it certainly was not what I was expecting. I wish we had gone somewhere else.

Me! I've been to lots of all inclusives all over the world and for me none have compared to Couples. Well, except The Caves in Negril which far exceeded any vacation experience I've ever had, but it was also far more expensive.
For Couples I've only been to Negril (Couples Negril and Couples Swept Away) so I cant comment specifically on the Ocho Rios resorts (Couple Sans Souci and Couples Tower Isle) but I'm sure the service and quality are equal across the brand.
The food and drinks are top notch and the service is amazing. Usually I expect food to be average at AIs but at Couples we actually enjoyed it, and we are total foodies.
What kind of deal are you finding? You should check out tripadvisor and the message board on Couples.com, just keep in mind that the Couples message board is strictly moderated so it doesn't seem like many negative comments/experiences make it to the board.
