I get waxes regularly. Brazilians. I was wondering the other day what others do, and if anyone else will be keeping up with whatever is regular, um, maintenance for them while pg.
I've heard some women just kind of let it go when their tummy is so big they can't even see past it, and others become much more vigilant because of how many peeps will be checking you out down there...
This is probably not a huge concern for anyone but me, lol I know nobody in the delivery room gives a shit what your vag looks like. I'm sure I won't care either at that point, but I will def keep up with my routine throughout pregnancy. I just think I'll feel better!

I get really really bad rashes from waxing or even shaving my bikini line, so I usually only do it when I expect to go swimming or something like that where it needs to be 'maintained'. Otherwise I just trim.
I guess I'll keep doing the same if I get pregnant, and if I can't see anything anymore and worry about hurting myself, I'll probably just wear my different bathing suit that's a short boxer :-)

I hate waxing. I doubt I'll ever do that again! I haven't even thought about not being able to reach it with a belly, o geez, that's gonna be bad. I like it very very bare down there.
I've gotten Brazilians every 4-6 weeks for the last two or three years. I went three or four weeks ago when I was in the 2WW. Apparently I was pg and it hurt.like.hell. Even at just a few DPO! I'm usually a trooper but OMG. Now I'm scared to go back. I think I'm going to suck it up though. I'd like to continue them throughout pg.
Oh shit, I didn't think about that.
I know you're not supposed to go right before your period for that reason, but I suppose it's likely to be like you're entire pregnancy.
I suppose I'll just go for a regular bikini then, that would be easier to handle.
I figure, if I have to push a baby out...this pales in comparison. But everyone has a different pain threshold, and some things hurt other people more than others. I'm sure it won't be pleasant, but it's so brief...!

I'm trying to keep this attitude too! And seriously, I do it regularly, have for awhile, and I'm not at all phased by waxing. This was crazy different though and I imagine it will be even worse farther along.
I'll at least give it one more shot before I abandon ship. I'll let you know how it goes in a week or two.
Yeah let me know! Because I'm not phased at all by it either. I've had it once during ovulation, which sucked a bit more, but I recovered quite quickly.
