I work for an investment firm that manages money for high net worth individuals/families. My job entails a mix of trading/portfolio management and client service/relationship building.
I am in between jobs. By day I worked at a call centre slowly letting my mind turn to mush. I also do the occasion freelance translation and work for a translation agency on-call (making diddly squat).
During mat leave I plan to apply to a number of Internet translation agencies to see if I can earn a living at that. Ultimately if I fail to get enough translation projects I have no idea what I'll be doing post mat leave. I certainly couldn't handle any more soul sucking call centre work.

Human Resources (PT) - mostly investigations (ethics, harassment, employee relations).
I am 15 years in to this career and 10 years in to this employer so I've bought myself quite a bit of flexibility. Can't say that I love it or hate it so it works for me.
