-I'm pleased with the cast. So glad Lange's back. I'm absolutely delighted to see James Cromwell and Chloe Sevigny. I lol'd that Mark Consuelos was there. I thought all the performances were really good so far.
-LOVE the new opening credits.
-I really like the look of it. I think the set's fantastic, and the inmates are an appropriate mixture of sympathetic and spooky.
***SPOILERS BELOW***
I'm not sure how I feel about the alien subplot. I'm a little concerned that they're trying to tackle too much: religion and crazy people and gayness and aliens and and and and. It might turn into a mess. I hope it doesn't.
I'm REALLY glad that it doesn't look like Adam Levine's going to be a regular. I can't stand that creepy fucker. At least he's not singing. I'm grateful for that.

I love love love Jessica Lange....she is by far the best actress on that show. The set is awesome. im with ya on the alien thing....not a huge fan of that idea...but we'll see where they go with it...
I do not like the whole alien thing,,,pretty stupid imo I also do not like the whole bloody face plot .... I think the asylum and all that goes on in it is enough without adding those 2 pieces! BUT i still love it.
Can't wait until it comes on the internet - says the woman with no cable. I don't get the love for Adam Levine - he's not attractive to me. And I found this nugget:

I watched it!!!
And....liked it so far! I am with GOZF that the alien thing seemed a little much. But I LOVE Chloe Sevigny so I am excited she is on there. I think it will be a regular show for me!
Just watched it and as usual, it creeped me out. I guess mainly the upcoming scenes and the showing the skin mask. Gag. Reminds me of Texas Chainsaw. I, too, don't know how I feel about the little micro-chip bug thingie yet this is set back in the 60's. Strange. I will be continuing to watch though. I hope we can reconvene each week so I have people to "discuss" with.

I haven't seen the first season, but I liked it. I love Joseph Fiennes (the priest). I was surprised by all the issues it was bringing up like homosexuality, interracial relationship, etc. I wasn't expecting that at all.
