i really want some boots. i'd love wide calf riding boots, or something with little to no heel just for every day wear. anyone have any suggestions? i know they've been mentioned before. i'd like brown.
i tried to do it at work, lol. i think it's 17. but the most recent boots i purchased, online, were 15 and they 'almost' fit. they weren't riding boots.
My calves are about 16.5", so here are some options and brands that I have worked for me.
My two recent splurges were a pair of Stuart Weitzmans (http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/stuart-weitzman-5050-over-the-knee-boot/2905315) and the Frye Veronica Slouch (http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/frye-veronica-slouch-wide-calf-boot/3125767). Both look awesome, but are above the $200 price point.

I've never been able to find boots that fit my small feet and large calves. My step-sister's dad owns a shoe place and she takes her boots into him and has him add stretchy panels to make them work. I think I might try that.
emy- how tight do the sm ones fit?? do they have them in store? i should go try them on. i used that link to the style&beauty post and ordered a pair off one of the websites... while not rated highly, i bought the ones i thought were most my style.. which happen to look VERy similar to the link you posted. now i'm thinking sm would have been the better choice.

I'd say I probably have another inch or so of room for them, so they should work for you. They did punch an extra hole for me so I could fasten the buckle.
