Well after 2 not so good days, I'm back on track today with counting calories in MFP and hopefully getting a workout in tonight if I'm not exhausted when I get home. It's been a LONG week! So happy it's Friday!
Can I join the check-in? I haven't run in MONTHS and I finally made myself go back out today, intending to run as far as I could and then walk until I finished the two-mile loop around my house. I figured I could go about a quarter mile because I am so out of shape, but I did a whole mile! I know that's not far for most people, but for me it is huge. Now I just have to keep going because I have a 5K to run on Thanksgiving weekend!
I'll check in. I was out of town all week for work, and didn't exercise AT ALL (location was not conducive to running, there was no gym, excuse, excuse, excuse....). However, I did figure that after my half-marathon on Sunday I deserved a few days off.
Anyway, I'm meeting with my running group for a four-miler this morning, and hopefully now that I'm back at work I'll get my ass back to the gym!!!
