So it's my turn to provide snack on Monday for D's preschool class. I want to do something festive, yummy and nutritious. Any ideas??? I've been scouring Pinterest with no luck!
learnsomethingnewtoday.com/?p=494 what about something like this but instead do yogurt, maybe a chocolate granola and a bit of a peach preserve or something like that. Layer it in clear cups so they can see the colors. It's not way out there festive but its cute and along those lines
I don't know if it has to be baked, but something I pinned on Pinterest that was cute and nutritious was little "candy corn" cups. Use a clear cup and layering from bottom to top: mandarin orange slices, pineapple chunks, then whipped topping. But instead of whipped topping, you could use yogurt (although whipped topping makes it feel more of a treat without being too bad for them).
I recently made pumpkin muffins with a spice cake mix & a can of pumpkin. No oil or eggs. They were super yummy, and really easy. Definitely not as cute as what IK posted though
