He's going to have a cardiosynosis (sp?) done soon to check to see what's going on it there. His heart isn't as bad off as they had thought so he'll probably only have to have a shunt inserted. (I think I have all the correct terminology for this lol)

Is he having a stent placed to help his stenosis? (That's what it sounds like might be happening. They can place a small coil/tube into a artery/large vein to support it/help keep it open sometimes in lieu of open heart surgery.)
That's awesome. If it's a stent, that's way less invasive than open heart!

Yeah, now if he could only make a better of effort of taking care of himself. This was quite a scare for my mom, and I hope it woke him up too. He's also diabetic, and it's not something that can be blown off. The big dummy! I love him to death, but jeez. Anyway, I'm very relieved.
