I woke up at about 5am today (normal time I wake up to temp), and couldn't fall back asleep so I did a wonfo. VERY almost imperceptibly faint line. When H woke up around 8 I did another one, and he said he could see a faint line on that one as well (to quote him, "Wait, what does two lines mean versus one line?" I didn't tell him until he told me he thought he saw a second line). Around 11am I did a Clearblue Digital test and it was POSITIVE.
So tomorrow I'll call my GP and see if I can get in this week for a blood test to confirm:-)
My symptoms: MEGA sore boobs and skin breaking out (I never get more than one stray pimple on it's own, maybe four times a year, and last week I got about 4 pimples on my chin).
Congrats!!! H&H 9 months to you! Just wondering, how does that work for you at work now. I recall you saying you're not allowed to fly when pregnant. I can also see how telling your superiors that you are pregnant when you're only 12DPO might feel a little premature. Anyways, congrats!
NL, that's a good question. For today, I just told them that I have "a medical issue that came up over the weekend, and I feel I should see a doctor before flying. I go for a blood test this afternoon. Assuming that confirms the pregnancy, I'll tell my supervisor tomorrow. He's really needs to know not to expect me flying again any time soon. His wife is a military pilot and they have kids, so I'm sure he knows the deal, and I know I can trust him not to tell anyone who doesn't need to know. However, I know that people at work will figure it out pretty quickly (if not flying doesn't tip them off, not drinking will!!!!). It looks like I'm just not going to have the luxury of keeping this quiet for very long. It makes me a little nervous.... Bt on the other hand, I work with really amazing people who have been there for me through other life tragedies, and I know that if anything happens early in the pregnancy I'll at least have a lot of support.
