I just got my flu shot this morning and it had me wondering what other people do. H gets one every year because of his job and he has to. I've gotten one for the last 7 years because my employer gives them to us for free.
I work in healthcare, and it's pretty much mandatory for us to get it. I, honestly, don't have any strong feelings one way or another about it. My employee makes it super convenient, and its free, so I'm okay with it. It does make your arm hurt like crazy though!!!
Just got mine. Work provides free ones. H also is required to because he works for a hospital. He doesn't work at the hospital but they have the same rule for all employees.
Never had one, don't really plan on it. Had the flu 2 years ago and it SUCKED but it still doesn't make me change my mind. I look at the fact that they just use statistical analysis to try and predict which strain will be the forerunner and that's what the vaccine is for. Doesn't guarantee that's the strain that will be the most prevalent/active or that you'll be exposed to so I just don't feel a need.

I don't get them. The years I get one I am sick pretty much from the time I get it to the time it starts warming up. The years I don't get one I just have minor colds. Edmund will get one though.
