I don't like outlets in general. I find that a lot of the stores have outlet only items, not the regular items that are in the regular stores. I rarely find anything that is a good enough deal to warrant the trip, the parking, etc.
They're okay. It's a pretty far drive for you, so I'd only go if I knew I was ready to spend some money. I usually have pretty good luck at ann taylor, and h at banana republic.
If you do decide to go, you'd be passing my house, so let me know, I'd love to meet you for lunch

This. I also find that they are hit and miss. I do love them for kids clothes though. I always go during the week when they first open and then its not as bad. I go to the Marysville ones though.
And this is random, but the Columbia outlet is fantastic. We needed a bunch of wet weather/hiking/outdoor gear when we moved last year and we had so much luck there.
Otherwise, yes, totally hit and miss for me.
But if you can go during the week when it's not busy, it's worth it.
I've been wanting to go the to Marysville Outlets for a while now. They are fairly close to my house. I went to the Outlets in Lincoln City, OR and it was a success. Loved their stores and loved not having to pay taxes. I would like to go during Christmas time for gifts but I'm sure it will be chaotic.
I would think it would be horrible since that outlet has pretty good stores! I love the coast of Oregon! It warms my heart! Loved every city we drove through!!! I'm sure your Christmas there is wonderful!
