Keeps blood stained underwear. I am familiar with the term "period underwear" but I thought that meant panties you don't like that much and wouldn't mind trashing.
Am I the only one that just throws those suckers out if you can't get the stain out? Because +o(
"I'm happy for you that you have such fresh naughty bits and you don't need new panties. The rest of us are going to get something nice for ourselves and feel pretty while we gestate our blessings."
They also already had a discussion about getting rid of pets now that they are pregnant. Did you see that one, NQB? One girl credits her new puppy with her BFP (because she "just relaxed!") but now she's thinking he's too much work with the baby coming.
Oh God. I have to read that one next. I've already been snarky in two threads today and don't want to be kicked out just yet so I'll just snicker about it here for now though.
Also - June moms - we're all pretty much the same as we were two-three weeks ago, right? I feel like some of these women are just making stuff up. Maternity clothes, all day nausea, sleeping all the time? I feel fine man, what gives? Am I just lucky?
Eh. I keep period stained unders. The actual blood comes off. Shrug.
I do, too. As soon as I notice it I handwash it and after that run it through the washing machine. At that point I know they are clean, even if not as nice looking as before.
I'm ordering maternity clothes today. My bloat is out of control.
I'm nauseous 24/7 and zofran only takes the edge off.
I've never been so tired in all my life even with mono.
You are lucky.
Oops, okay then. I thought these people were just drama llamas.
Well, I think they are sort of drama llamas but not because of the laundry lists of symptoms. I have definitely had way more drastic symptoms and changes in symptoms than I did with my first pregnancy. You're lucky!

Yeah, you are VERY lucky! But it might hit you soon (I hope not though!). I felt OK until 7-8 weeks with my first. This time, I was vomiting like crazy with all day nausea and extreme exhaustion at 5.5 weeks. Although some might be drama llamas, it's very real for a lot of PG women.
dude my life is so much better now that I quit the bump. Bitches made me CRAZY.
as for the underwear, blood stains usually wash out in my experience, small ones at least. Also all my underwear is black so I can't see stains if they are there. But I don't have periods anymore now that I have the Mirena so that's kinda nice.

I don't really care about the underwear thing, but damn, I will have to sit on my hands about the dog thing. Assholes.
As for symptoms, I was tired and bloated the first couple weeks but as soon as I hit 6 weeks I had horrible nausea. I am nauseous all day and have at least one bout of dry heaving or puking each day. I hate it and it is so hard to act normal at work.

I'll third this. Once they're washed they're perfectly clean and sanitary. For the most part, it's my black undies that suffer my period so any stains don't show anyway.
As for the symptoms they started about 5 weeks, the nausea peeked at 7ish weeks (I know this because I was sick all day last year on my birthday). Exhaustion went hand in hand with the sick

all black? What if you wear lighter pants? I would go all nude before all black.
I don't throw them out just if they are stained. I can't afford that. Stained pants, trash. What no one is seeing? Keep. It's been cleaned, it's not unsanitary. I also keep diapers that I haven't gotten totally stain free and poop is worse than blood.

The nausea and sleeping are certainly possible. Maternity clothes sounds like quite a stretch.

I'm due May 30, so close enough to June to count right? I've had off and on nausea and lots of fatigue since 5 weeks. Definitely no need for maternity clothes yet.
I'm going to go with you're lucky! I wouldn't wish this m/s on anyone, it totally sucks.

How is it a stretch? I'm so bloated it's not funny.

I was sick from about week 4 until the time I gave birth. The main reason I took a pregnancy test was because 2 months before my BFP I had had a stomach infection and the symptoms are almost identical. I was hoping it wasn't the stomach infection again because I didn't want to be on antibiotics for 2 weeks to battle it. I was nauseous, exhausted and achy. My boobs were very tender and that was my main reason for thinking it was pregnancy and not the infection.
I started wearing maternity pants around week 12 because I just couldn't take the pain from my normal clothes anymore. It didn't matter what trick I used with them they hurt to wear. Maternity pants were like a godsend because I could be comfortable all day long.
My other problem was that one of my biggest aversions while pregnant was the smell of brewing coffee and my position at work kept me within 10 feet of the Starbucks kiosk. Luckily I only puked once but I had to suck on peppermint candies whenever they were brewing coffee to keep the nausea at bay.

OMG. I can't find this post? Anyone mind linking me so I can flip out?

I haven't been able to fit into most of my jeans and tailored work pants since 8 weeks or so with this baby. Granted it's a third pregnancy and this wasn't my experience the first time around, but still. I guess I could have just bought regular pants one size up, but I already had maternity pants on hand, so why spend the money to buy big clothes just to wear them for 4-6 weeks?
And I, too, keep washed but stained underwear. Why not?

The shit people talk about on the internet never ceases to amaze me +o(
With my first pregnancy, I felt nauseous on and off from about 6-7 weeks and that was it. With my second pregnancy, I felt miserable from weeks 5-25. It sucked.

Gah, I looked yesterday but couldn't find it. It wasn't in the last few days - maybe a week ago?
Oh well...I would just like to reiterate that the June birth month board is scary and I get in essence what NQB was saying. In the first week (where no one could have had a positive test for longer than 6 days), I read things like:
I have diarrhea, anyone else have this as a symptom yet?
I feel really hot today, anyone else have this as a symptom?
I knew I was pregnant cause they day after I ovulated I was totally nauseous.
