I know what my dad will be working on next winter. DD would love a cute little dollhouse for her third birthday.
It reminds me of the one my parents made for me. My mom carpeted all but the kitchen with carpet samples, sponge painted the walls (it was the 90s) and made a swirly plaster ceiling. I loved it. It's still at their house for the grandkids to play with when they get old enough.
I like how they did it, but there are so many little parts that I imagine John and Sherry are going to be stepping on little doodads in their bare feet.
DH and I bought a dollhouse for our girls for Christmas. That thing was a BEAST! I don't even know how many hours we spent on it. Now I know why the already painted and assembled ones are so expensive. Anyhow, I think the one on YHL is very cute. I think it would be much easier to paint/paper than the one we bought with deeper rooms and windows/doors.
I think their dollhouse turned out so cute! It's unique, and nobody will have one just like it. Such a cute thing for their daughter to have for a long time.
