He's so good. Edith's Grandma C was going to come stay with us this week to help me out, but she wasn't able to because of work. Both of them have been perfect all week, except for the one night they took turns waking up every hour. But then they slept till like 10:45, so it was okay. I am so freaking lucky, it blows my mind.
Scotty, she adores him. He is HER baby - we just exist to feed him, change diapers, buy stuff and chauffeur them around. She has been known to shove me out of the way to get to him first when he's crying. And if she can't take care of it, she shouts at me to HELP MY BABY!!

I remember originally they thought he had some kind of health issues, did you ever get any kind of answers regarding that?
I was JUST talking about this today with my bestie. So he saw this doctor who sees all of the babies from our agency. And Freddie really hates being naked in front of strangers. And woken up and hungry, so when he arched his back and threw a complete shit fit and his entire body went rigid, she said he showed signs of Truncal Hypotonia. Which can be a precursor to Cerebral Palsy and Multiple Sclerosis and presents in infants as either floppiness or rigidity. Which he showed when he was pissed at the doctor's office (the rigidity), but never at any other time, as per the nurses at the agency who saw him 24 hours a day, seven days a week for two months.
So we took a chance, and there is no way this kid has hypotonia. We had him checked out by two different physical therapists, and both of them asked if maybe his diagnosis had been mixed up with a different baby. Apparently, Truncal Hypotonia can be confused with a seriously pissed off baby.
