The 30 Rock Theory on Unmarried Women Over 40

From the season finale episode last week: the main character's BF opined that unmarried women over 40 are one of three types - uggos, crazies, or bailers.

Your thoughts?

My theory is the opposite. I think they chose career over personal life.

It's the single men over a certain age that have something wrong with them.

This theory brought to you by the fact that I have many smart gorgeous single girl friends and I can't think of one single guy that I would set any of them up with.

Do these women want to be married? I'm not sure why married is the default for adults, and everything else requires an explanation.

Of course Kuus is right, but for those (man and women) that are hetero and express a wish to be coupled up, my theory stands.

Brad's single friends are neurotic or peter pans. Mine are awesome and smart and not willing to settle.

Nice. I hope I don't fall into any of those categories! I had other important shit (I love that I can say that here) to do and marriage wasn't even a thought until I met someone I wanted to marry. I did not seek out someone to marry. FI has never been married, but he hasn't hit the 40 yr mark yet.
