I got a text last night from him saying that he had proposed to his on again/off again GF.
This is the same one that he was upset about breaking up with less than a month ago so he went on a drinking binge. They're obviously back together now.
This is also the same one he's been dating the entire time when he's propositioned me for sex multiple times. Eeek.
I told him "congrats" and he followed up with a "well, I wanted so badly for us to be a family, but I realized I have to move on with my life". ::sigh::
Anyways, bottom line is, I do think that she is a good person and I know she is good around P so I can appreciate that. That is really all that matters. Just figured I would share the happy news with everyone
OMG, I think his drinking issues and other stuff should be more noticeable now than before, so how can someone get into a relationship like that? I actually feel bad for her.

I do too because she does actually seem like a nice person. She's nine years his senior so I wonder if she thinks she's really landed herself a hot younger man or something.

Uh, who marries their on again/off again boyfriend after being on again for only a month??? I predict either a) they never make it down the aisle or b) divorce within 6 months.
I am glad she is good to P and that is all that really matters, but I do NOT see this working out.
Why do you always know everything while I know nothing? *pouts* I am glad you are back too, person i do not know who you are!
PM if you want; I have been too critical on guys with grammar and fudged my own in the same post - but that was a while back. I have a DC.
Doris told me. I remember you!!! Welcome back! I get judgey with the grammar and then say flower instead of floor. Who does that? I blame the excessive drinking.

I honestly can not believe this... perhaps he is just saying this to make you jealous? i would be really suprised if this actually happened
I seriously wonder too. Especially because he told me via text, and I wasn't checking messages because I was at dinner. In the span of two hours that I wasn't responding because I didn't have my phone he left five text messages, called twice, and left a VM. It was like he was worried I was intentionally ignoring because I was upset. If he was soooooo in lurve why would my reaction (or lack thereof) matter?
