It hasn't happened to me recently. I am 99.99% sure though that if you're not always super nice and accomodating, people think this is why you're divorced. And bully, I agree, this is in the same category.

This happened to me on Saturday night when I was out with friends. WE had a private party at a part of a bar that was catered, etc. Some guy walked over and just started helping himself so I called him out on it. He was being an assshole and he's the kind of guy no one ever says "no" to. I was being bitchy to him as a result and he said that "Wow. You're the bitter and single friend. Let me guess? You're divorced."

What an f-in a-hole. Eventually he wanted to know if I wanted to grab a drink sometime...I flat out told him no and that we wouldn't work out because I'm a bitch and he's an asshole.

Yah...pretty rad. These are the kinds of people I meet out. Too bad...he was really cute. But no thanks! My friend took a picture of us talking and I was giving the bird while he was eating my friends cake (that was already wrapped up in a box. He straight up opened the box and took a piece of cake. I haven't had that yet, but I did have someone make me feel like shit recently. Two of my childhood friends either just became a father or are about to be. At one of the baby showers, the friend said, "Em, we were all supposed to become parents at the same time, catch up!"

I actually don't have kids because my ex changed his mind about having them after we got married, and now I'm divorcing him. But thanks for bringing it up, dude. It doesn't depress me or anything.
