Time to break into the wine

Coming up on 24 hours without power at my place. I bailed and am now at a friend's house.

Just found out that H's car needs an entirely new engine. Because we weren't already bleeding enough money with this move.

To keep it MM, the wine was under $16 for 3 liters...

I think we have to. With a new engine, we could fetch a decent price for the car. Without it, we can't get much.

It's looking like the current plan will be to fix it, have H take my car back to Wisconsin at the semester break, and then sell his car. The money we could get from his would cover the repair and most of the credit card. Having a car here is convenient, but it's not strictly necessary so that seems like the best option.

Also, I think I should win roommate of the year. My roommates were all, "Oh, we're not worried about the storm." But somebody (AHEM) went to Costco and bought a 3-pack of flashlights. Guess who was asking to use a flashlight last night?

Just found out we're not on the list of houses to get power back today. I feel like everyone around me has power. WOMP WOMP.
