73, but I'm a crazy person and I sleep with the window open if it's above 55 or so outside. I love when my room is freezing and I have to bundle under the covers.
This. We don't have to turn the air or the heat on very often. I answered 80-82 based on what our thermostat has been on since May or so. I don't remember what we usually have it on when "winter" comes*.
Also, our vents blow directly on wherever we are sitting - couch in the living room, chairs in the office, bed in the bedroom, etc. I get uncomfortably cold when air is blowing directly on me, so I keep the thermostat set higher and open doors and windows for a breeze if I am hot.
*As a non-SoCal native, I'm still getting used to the winter weather in the LA area.
ETA: just saw poll was updated to winter...hmm...I honestly don't remember what we set thermostat to when it gets colder. Before turning on the heat we throw on sweatshirts and socks. If we are still uncomfortable we turn on the heat a couple of degrees. The vent situation still interferes when the heat is on since I get uncomfortably hot if warm air is blowing on me.

And this is why I wish we had zone heating We have our thermostat set at 68. The heat is always kicking on just to maintain that temp on the main floor, but its usually about 15 degrees warmer upstairs. So its chilly on the main floor and sweltering upstairs. It suuuucks.
Right now the heat/air is off because it's nice here. The thermostat reads 70 degrees. In the "winter" here, we usually just have it off because it's not very cold. When we do have to turn the heat on (probably two weeks out of the year), we'll set it around 70.
In the summer, we keep the thermostat at about 74/73 degrees when we're home during the day and 72/71 at night.

Also, I don't turn on the heat until it snows or hits 30. They make sweatshirts and socks and blankets for a reason! Flannel sheets and down comforters also help
