So.......I had a date last night. We may or may not have been going at it pretty bad. And he may or may not have nipped at my neck (which I like). However, given I am like Snow White, I now have a lovely bite mark on my neck. And I have a date tomorrow and another date on Friday. And no, neither one of these dates is with this dude. Fuck.
How do I cover this up with make up? I used cover-up and foundation which helped but it is still visible. Any tricks, make up queens of SO?
:Y: Is the area bruised or scratched or what? Arnica is supposed to help bruises heal faster (or maybe just not hurt so much, I forget), so that might help....
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Was this the med student, the cardiologist, or the lawyer? Seriously I am starting to get lost, do you have a venn diagram, power point, etc so I can keep track?

Usually cover up would work for me, with some powder on top but I do remember reading somewhere that light greenish makeup (it's used as a concealer sometimes) works because it counteracts the purple/redishness of it. I've also used Dermablend to cover my tattoo and I can't image that shit wouldn't cover a love bite. They sell it at Ulta and probably Sephora. Good luck!

JM...I have a bracket....want me to forward to you?

Yeah I vote no on the scarf because you will be making out with these other dudes and they will also want to get frisky and take off your scarf and see the love bite...then you are busted.
Since I am on my self imposed dating hiatus this will help me live vicariously through Bully's dating life. I will need up to the minute updates. Thanks.

I forget - how long is your hair? Will your hair cover it? Just don't let any of the other dudes get close enough to discover it.
Andplusalso, you'll need a good story about how it happened. You can use the one that a college roommate of mine used when she had the biggest hickey known to man - "I fell off of the couch." It's almost believable!

I have actually used "curling iron accident" to explain one before. I was just curling my hair and oops I'm so clumsy!

My hair is longer than shoulder length but it is like more towards the front of my neck. Like if I drew a line from the outer corner of my eye it was be right below that.
SB--curling iron would NOT work. It is purplish and bruise-y looking. I was considering "I was playing rough with my dog and she nipped me". LMAO....

Yes! Go with it! And if either one of them tries to call bullshit, just act insulted that they're accusing you of being a lying liar who lies.

HAHAHA! This is hilarious! I don't have a ton of tips other than try to cover it up with make-up and maybe a type of sweater/scarf that can cover it up, too?
Good luck!!! Kind of appropriate seeing as it's Halloween though!
Layers! 1:If it is more reddish then use a tiny amount of a green concealer to cancel it. If it is more purpleish use a tiny bit of yellow concealer. This will cancel out the color. Don't use too much or it will end up looking cakey.
2: use a concealer that closely matches your neck skin.
3: you can use a foundation over the concealer if you need to blend the color a bit more. Just make sure to blend over a large area of your neck, not just the love bite area
4: use a translucent or skin toned powder to set. Blend over a large portion of your neck as well. Light sometimes reflects off of powder so if it just in one spot it will look white.
Oh, I forgot to add. When you use a skin toned concealer there are ones made to cover tattoos etc that have a TON of pigment. One example is Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Cobcealer. Use sparingly and dab over the area.
