In the last 24 hours she's been to the ER, the dentist, and an oral surgeon. She has an impacted wisdom tooth that's been fine for however many decades, but suddenly is infected/abcessed/I'm not sure the whole story. She's on pain meds and antibiotics, and has an app't to have the tooth removed next week, after the swelling goes down some. They said that the swelling is preventing her from opening her mouth wide enough to do the surgery any sooner. An impacted wisdom tooth is going to be a pretty painful procedure, I imagine.
A week after that (just as she's feeling good again?) it'll be off for the next chemo infusion.
I am so out of ideas of what to do for her. Flowers it is I guess.

Ugh. That really sucks. Do you know what her "love language" is? I can't remember if she lives close or far. I know you've been great about sending gifts, I was just wondering if there was something else she may also enjoy.
She's big on cards, she sends birthday cards to everyone in the entire extended family. But sending her cards feels so... insignificant? I usually try to send small things too.
