Cost of iPhone w/ individual plan?

My husband has his work phone so we will only need one for me. Anyone on an individual plan? I know it depends on data and texts and all that but what's a general cost going to be?

Also, please recommend your provider. We will be in the Houston area. Thanks!

My bill for a basic plan with ATT - 450 minutes, 200 texts, unlimited data (which I was grandfathered into) - was like $76 a month.

Or you can buy the phone (i dont know if they offer the 5, but I think you can buy an unlocked full priced one from one of the main carriers or apple) outright and use one of the Straight Talk plans $45 on any of the carriers.

Dh has a work phone so we only have to pay for mine. Through Verizon for my iphone- 450 minutes, 250 texts, 2gb of data (they don't offer unlimited anymore)- $75 a month.

Straight Talk (using either the Tmobile or AT&T network): $45/mo for unlimited talk/text/data. No contract. Bring the phone, but a SIM for $15, and activate. Even if you buy a new iPhone outright (that's what we did), you break even in 7 months versus similar unlimited plans by AT&T.
