Yeah I hope it will be in a few weeks. I never considered not doing it. I know that's not much of a reason but I want to make sure everything is okay with Gizmo.
We did, I was on steroids for my Crohn's so we wanted to make sure all was ok with the baby. Plus we wanted to know if the baby would have any disabilities so we could prepare.
Yes with my first two, no with my third, but only because we did genetic testing instead because I am AMA now. I am in the knowledge is power camp on this one.
I did but I couldn't get the blood work done with multiples. I would still have done it with a singleton too probably just to make sure everything was okay and to be informed if everything wasn't ok.

Nope, we opted not to. Seemed like I heard of a lot of false positives and I didn't want the stress or further testing. I think it's really just a personal decision though.

Yes. Not so much to educate/prepare ourselves or receive different prental care or delivery plans, because conditions spurring that would be identified at the anatomy scan at 18-20w. To me, the benefit of the NT scan is that if there are diagnoses for which you would terminate (and there were for us) then you find out at 13w and can do so relatively early in the pregnancy.
I did it. We would have terminated, so we needed to know. We did an amnio for the same reason. There are no guarantees in life, but I wanted to get as much info so that I have the best chance of bringing a healthy child home.
Same here. Did NT and based on the results had an amnio.

We opted out. I have been worrying like a basket case about every little detail of this pregnancy and I knew that if our results came back less than absolutely perfect it would just give me something else to make me crazy over. For me (and my personality), I feel like it would have been added stress that I did not need.
Yes, for several reasons. We would have terminated if the baby had a condition incompatible with life or would be seriously ill (anencephaly, trisomy 18, etc). While there is a risk of getting a false positive, soft markers can also pop up at the anatomy scan and I figured the results from the NT scan would push one way or the other for how seriously to take them. Also, we just wanted to see the baby again.
We did. Only 2 u/s are offered to me, the NT and the anatomy, so wanting to see the baby did enter into it. We also wanted as much info as possible, so we did the paired NT and maternal blood screening. I would do it again next time assuming my options are the same.
