I am sorry Tori. It is good they know it is there. I had a friend go through this. There should be two surgeons in the OR to work on you. And they should have blood there for you. My friend made it through the surgery but had a tough recovery because of all the blood loss. I thought the primary risk was a hysterorectomy in order to stop bleeding. Update please when you know more.

A friend had it. Birth center birth was lovely, then she was bleeding like mad after. They rushed her to the hospital (across the street so it was fine) and she had surgery. She didn't lose her uterus, luckily. Everything turned out fine for mom and baby.
A friend of mine just had this from reading your link. They didn't know it ahead of time though. She was all ready scheduled for a repeat c section, she ended up bleeding a lot, had a hysterectomy, and had to have a couple surgeries to repair her bladder because the placenta actually attached to it through the uterus. Her and baby are both doing great now though.
I've had 2 friends who had it in the past year. One had a horrible bleed after she was in recovery and ended up with a hysterectomy, the other had a bad bleed but didn't need surgery. I'm sorry you've had this complications, good luck!
got ya, I figured but wanted to confirm. Then with them expecting it they'll be prepared and should be able to stay on top of the bleeding which is the primary concern that lewds to hysterectomy. I'd do what you can to keep your iron and blood levels up so your body can handle any blood loss as well as possible. Odds are it'll be fine.
