maternity clothes question

You hated full panel, and couldn't get away with a belly band and regular jeans.

What are you suggesting I get?

I am guessing she just wore demi panel. Some people are fine with those. I didn't own full panel jeans during my first pregnancy. My demi panels were fine. I had one pair of full panel with my second pregnancy, but still wore my demi panels throughout the pregnancy as well. Full panel are comfortable to a degree, but they kind of frustrate me because they never seem to stay up very well.

Regardless, if your demi panel are uncomfortable, you need something else, and I think it is doubtful that you can get away with a belly band until the bitter end.

The Secret Fit panel is thin and stretchy and actually stayed up. The other brands would always slide down or would have very thick panels that you could see through tops.

This I loved my secret fit jeans from Motherhood. I had 3 pairs, they were awesome!

One time I saw a woman wearing full panel maternity jeans and a cardigan with only the top two buttons buttoned. That's it, no other shirt. As if that's not bad enough, the panel was that beigey "nude" color.

Oh, and to stay on topic, I liked full panel when I was hugely pregnant in the winter because it was another layer of warmth.

I did not like full panel during my second pregnancy because I was huge in the summer and wanted to wear as little as possible.

I couldn't stand demi or low rise panels. Full panel all of the way once I got to a certain point in my pregnancy. 20 weeks is still a lot of use.

I liked the Secret Fit especially during the last few weeks when I even outgrew my full panel and PP.
