I am thinking if I can lose the weight I want to get my girls put back where they used to be. I don't think I want implants, just get what I have hiked up a little.
I looked at some pics online and the result seem mixed. Some good some not so good. Any personal experiences?
I am not sure I am going to do it, and if I do, it won't be for a while.
My sister gained and lost 40lbs as a teenager and ended up with saggy stretched out boobs in her 20s. She had them lifted, no implant, and they are fucking spectacular.

This is the kind of story i like to hear about. Did the doctor ever mention any complications or anything if she had kids one day? I worry that if i have kids with breastfeeding they will stretch back out.
Her breast size has fluctuated in the year since the surgery. She was off birth control pills and then went back on, so they grew. But they grew perfectly and she still doesn't need a bra, even though she's a large C.
I really want to. I'm going to wait until I'm for sure done having kids, though, because these two were the nails in my boob coffin. If you're planning on having kids, all I can say is this: if you feel that you need a lift now, I can almost guarantee you'll want one after that. Maybe it's best to wait (I have absolutely no basis for this, though...maybe the surgery would withstand pregnancy and bf'ing).
Re: breastfeeding. I know nothing about this, as I was done having kids before I had my life. I do know that my doc said he'd be hesitant to preform one on someone who was planning on getting pg again because pregnancy really changes your breasts.
I was off of work for one week. I had a desk job, so going back wasn't super major. I didn't really feel like myself for a few weeks.
Pain during recovery wasn't TERRIBLE, but I did use the pain meds my doctor prescribed. I'd say it was about a 5-6.
I had a lift and augmentation. I had teeny tiny implants put in (like 120 cc's), mainly to fill in the volume I had lost due to sagging. Guys, they were really, REALLY bad. Like it looked like my boobs were melting off my body (think Salvador Dali).
I was (and am, except for my weight gain which is entirely my fault) completely happy with the results. It made me feel SO much better about myself. I was always so unhappy and self conscious about my breasts and it gave me confidence back.
Oh and far as results go, wander, a lot of it depends on how well your body is at "healing". I don't scar terribly so my scars are almost non existent now. Some people don't scar well so their scars are probably worse.
Mine are really bad now, too. They look great in a good bra, but when the bra comes off it's not pretty. I will wait until I'm done having kids, but man, I'm looking forward to it. Thanks for the info, and sorry for the hijack

I had a reduction and a lift a few years ago. My breasts were freaking HUGE, it was bad.
The downtime for me was 3 weeks. It hurt pretty bad, but by day three I was up and walking around. The worst part of it was the feeling of pressure on my chest. I took my pain meds as prescribed and it was pretty much smooth sailing.
Honestly, it helped so much with my self esteem. My boobs are awesome now
I want a reduction and a lift badly. A lift especially now that I've had a baby and breastfed. I'm thinking that once we're for sure done having kids, I'll look into it... along with some removal of the extra skin on my belly.
