Dd has been teething so we thought her runny nose was that. Then Monday evening, she spiked a fever of 102.7. I got it to break and she went to sleep. I had a meeting Monday night and our Dr was there, so I asked her about it (dd had roseola a couple weeks ago, so wanted to see if it could come back) she told me to bring her in Tuesday. Early Tuesday morning, she spiked another to 104.8.
Took her to the dr. Her ears and lungs are clear. She is breathing well. But a chest X-ray confirmed it was bilateral pneumonia. Last night, another fever.now she has a hacking cough and super snotty. She barely slept last night.
Anyway, our pedi said that she has seen 5 kids, 3 babies that all have pneumonia that didn't have the classic signs. We caught dd's early and she's still miserable ut she's still smiley even though she's sick.
I wanted to give you all a heads up in case your little one is having the same issues
