I'm making brownie balls. I refuse to make "cake pops" because what's the point? So I'm just making chocolate brownie, chocolate frosting balls coated in dark chocolate.
Anywho, I WAS going to make chocolate chip cookie dough brownies but I have not a clue how to do this. All the recipes I find are for homemade brownie mixes OR eggless cookie dough.
Do I put the cookie dough on the bottom and the brownie mix on top? (like one Google search gave me) OR do I put the brownie batter in, bake a few minutes, take out and put my frozen cookie dough discs on top and then bake for 30 minutes (like a different recipe said)?
Hmm. Which one has to cook for longer, the cookie dough or the brownies? I would assume the brownies, so I would probably bake the brownies first, then put the cookie dough on top.
This is probably no help but I did cupcakes with cookie dough centers recently. Basically you froze the cookie dough for a few hours, made the cupcake batter and filled the tin a little less than normal with the batter. Then I just dropped the frozen dough in and baked. My only complaint was there was a little too much dough so it kind of sunk to the bottom of the cupcake. I was lazy though and used store bought premade cookie dough with all the horrors of salmonella and everything.
