I'm always amazed by the stupidity that shows up on my Facebook, and I question how some people graduated high school when they can't sell simple words. It's even worse when they have a college degree.
However, I will admit that my spelling has gone downhill a lot in the last year. I've spent too much time on the internet seeing other people's mistakes so I sometimes start to do the same. I'm ashamed.
Also, most times when I go to the grocery store, pay with my debit and ask for cash back (usually $40 or $50), the cashier (HS or college kid) CANNOT do the math in their head. So if my grocery bill is $95.50 and I ask for $50 back, it's like a foreign language to the kid. I have no patience for it and I'm immediately telling the cashier, "That would be $145.50." Oy...
