We've had the icomfort for about a year and I absolutely love it.
We got the firmer option of the three choices at the time. We have a queen and I think we paid about $1600 total for everything including tax, delivery, and they threw in two pillows. (I love the pillow and have become one of those creepy people that takes my pillow with me for overnight visits.. My husband thinks it too hard).
I have a W Hotel bed I got from Gilt.com. But all of the flash sale sites offer it from time to time. I believe it's made by Simmons and is similar to their beauty rest line. I love this bed. It is individual wrapped coils with memory foam sewn into the top. Not pillow top.

We bought a Latex Foam mattress (not memory foam - it sleeps too hot and we were sinking into the floor model) - king size was $2200. It's firm enough that you don't sink into it, but soft enough that you don't wake up bruised.
I have a select comfort sleep number bed. DH and I love it. My side stays firm his is soft as a cloud. It makes us both happy.
We have a sleep number bed also. It's just a glorified air mattress. I'm not the biggest fan, but this is the best compromise with out getting 2 seperate beds and pushing them together or one of us being miserable. I'm a 25 and he's a 70
We have a Sealy mattress. It is literally the most comfortable bed I have ever been in. Ever. Best purchase ever. I never ever ever ever want to get out of bed in the morning.
I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I believe that the bed, frame, headboard, and applicable taxes and delivery charges came to a grand total of under $900. Columbus Day sale, though, so don't know what the original price would have been.
We were debating between a Serta at Store #1 and a Sealy at Store #2. Very knowledgeable-seeming salesman at Store #2 explained the pros and cons of the spring/coil arrangement of each brand.
Serta: He said that the inner workings of a Serta are set up lengthwise down the bed - thus helping to eliminate noise and jostling from one side to the other (since, when one person moves, the effects are absorbed down the length of the bed rather than side to side). Which is great for people who are light sleepers and concerned with this aspect. However, it can lead to getting sunken-in body imprints on each side faster since the springs in the middle are rarely touched.
Sealy: He said that the inner workings of a Sealy are set up to be width-wise across the bed - this can increase the noise and jostling effects since, when one person moves, the effect is absorbed horizontally and therefore by the person next to them. However, it helps to majorly slow down the creation of sunken-in body imprints.
To us, this made the Sealy sound good, since we don't want each side to be sunken in five years in, and we aren't horribly light sleepers... and this salesman was the Sealy salesman. So whether or not he skewed the information a bit knowing that we might lean towards the Sealy is up for debate.
But all I know is, we LOVE our Sealy. It is insanely comfortable, and, two years in, body imprints are extremely slight, if at all. The only minor issue is that I think we may have somehow accidentally popped a spring on one edge from sitting on the edge in the waking up process, lol. But it only becomes apparent when sitting on that edge and hasn't affected sleep quality at all.

I first read this as "I'm 25 [years old] and he's 70 [years old]." I thought, "it totally makes sense they'd need different types of bed, given the difference in their ages!"
I think sleep deprivation is starting to affect my brain.

This is what we have. It's awesome and you can usually get good deals. 35% off right now.
We loved our Sealy Posturpedic too. That is until it bit the dust 3.5 years in We now have a Tempurpedic Cloud Supreme. For a Cal King it was about $3800. No doubt the best bed ever! I actually smile when I roll over and snuggle in. Now when I travel, it's almost impossible for me to sleep in other beds.
