I DO NOT HAVE CANCER!!! ;D
I had a lumpectomy back in mid/late October. The incision got infected and there was a saroma (fluid that fills in behind the incision and doesn't reabsorb properly). I ended up in the ER for IV antibiotics and emergency redo on the surgery. I ended up in the hospital over night. It was not fun to say the least.
Last Monday they pulled the surgical drain and I flew OOT for a conference.
This morning, the stitches came out.
I'm still on restrictions. No violin for a few more weeks, no real bra for just as long, no running or lifting for at least a month but I can walk my 5k in December.
So short version, I'm on the mend and doing well. Thank you all for the T&P along the way.
Is it bad that the thought of "no bra for awhile" sounds very appealing to me? ;D (ETA: for myself, I mean, not me mentally picturing you without a bra!!!)

The girls are DDDs after my reduction a few years ago. They are half the size they started out. No real bra means no underwire which means less support. I'm very thankful for the invention of Genie bras and their equivalent because I don't have to totally leave the girls hanging. I'm very much looking forward to wearing a real bra again. Just try to imagine pulling off professional appearance with the girls and iffy support. It's been tough.
If you want to go bra less, enjoy it. It's not comfortable for me. On the flip side I have a collection if stretch bras now if I want to sleep in them when I'm done with this.
