I don't normally watch Dr. Phil but I watched today's episode because I have been somewhat interested in Morgan's case.
Overall, I don't think they brought anything new to light here. I actually felt like her parents, her mom specifically, are grasping at straws to try to make a case that their daughter was murdered. I didn't feel so much that way by reading their blog but I guess seeing her parents on TV talking about it changed my mind. I thought her mom was borderline annoying/obnoxious even though I feel awful for their family.
Things that still don't add up- why didn't they put a camera on Morgan's window? Why, if they are so sure someone had been in the house through the front door, didn't they add additional locks? Would their dog have let a stranger go undetected in their house? This on top of the mom's denial (she said Morgan didn't use recreational drugs, hardly drank and mostly served as the DD, and that she and Morgan did NOT have what she considered to be words/a fight the night of her death) makes it seem like they can't come to terms with the fact that their daughter is gone.
It seems like this was their chance to articulate why they felt like Morgan was murdered but they didn't do that very well. I do think they have some valid concerns about the investigation but that did not come across well on the show. They really just seemed kind of irrational and crazy. For example, the biggest red flag in her death IMO was all of the chemicals found in Morgan while the autopsy showed no pill fragments in her stomach. She would have had to ingested liquid chemicals? Or been injected with them? Someone should have looked into where those chemicals came from and if Morgan had access to them the night she died. I think her mom was too worked up to even explain this in a rational manner.
Anyway, I thought Dr. Phil did a good job of calling Morgan's parents out on things that didn't make sense while still being sensitive to their daughter's death.
I have it on the DVR, so I'll watch it this evening and probably have more thoughts on it. I find it very interesting. When I first started reading her blog I was totally on her side, and the more I read the less I believed the mother.
A few things I've learned from reading everything on various sites: Morgan's mom didn't notify police that jewelry was missing until after K was arrested with stolen jewelry. Her mother has yet to provide police with a description of the jewelry that she believes was stolen.
In regards to the dog, she actually said in the blog that she thinks maybe K poisoned the dog so he wouldn't bark.
She has edited comments on her blog before posting them, and doesn't post any comments that ask questions where she may not have the answer.
There was a tumblr account owned by Morgan that had several pictures relating to suicide and drug use, I haven't been able to find it since I first saw it. Apparently the mother is getting rid of any site that could possibly make her daughter look suicidal.
The police reports are very telling, and it seems like the mom is trying to say all the reports are basically lies to make them look bad. I'm seriously starting to feel for the people she's accusing of this, practically the whole damn town.
I read somewhere that they have identified all of the jewelry that was missing and none of it belonged to Morgan. I'm not sure where I read that, though.
What did the people who they are accusing of her murder/stalking have to say?
K declined to appear on the show and released a statement through his lawyer saying he had nothing to do with it.
Brooke was on with her dad and said that she did not have anything to do with stalking or murdering Morgan, and that Morgan's mom was now putting her in danger by saying all of this stuff. Brooke also has a restraining order against Morgan's parents now.

I wish K had gone on as well as someone from the sherriff's office.
I really wish they would pursue the stalking thing more as I think that is where they have the evidence. There seem to be a lot of holes in the murder case.
