No way.
I've had a few non profit jobs that required us to take turns cleaning the kitchen. That was bad enough. At one job, only people in my position were responsible for kitchen clean up. At the other place, we were all supposed help, but mysteriously, all of the higher ups were never around for kitchen duty.
I agree with Pamela...I don't want to work for a company that can't pay someone to handle this business expense.
The people here get poop in places other than in the terlet. I am not cleaning up after them. I do my part by mopping up the gigantic mess that people leave all over the sink counter.
FTR, I work at a non-profit and our "cleaning staff" consists of a 70 year old woman with a cane who will likely need to be replaced in the not-so-distant future.
Doubt it. I'm SUPER pissed I got stuck *just* measuring communal bathrooms for an ADA Audit for a high rise office building. I seriously was super close to quitting over it. My boss sensed my unhappiness & we've come to an agreement. Actually cleaning I would & have done years ago (as a child with my mom) prior to spending 6 figures & 7yrs on post secondary school so I wouldn't have to deal with that kind of thing. Unless it was my business or I needed the job desperately to survive, I don't see me doing that at this point.
I just IMed this question to my H to see what he thought. He thought I meant that my company made this change, and that I would be cleaning toilets this week. His response? "Oh hell no. Leave. Get out now. Seriously, pack up your stuff." LOL.
Yes. If something is dirty I clean it no matter where I am.
You wanna come over for dinner tonight?
Lol. Don't get too excited. I don't notice toilets as much as I do sinks. If a sink is dirty or if the faucet has toothpaste on it I clean it. Then I worry that people think I'm judging.
