One of my favorite things in the world is reading magazines with DS. He and I climb into his bed- him with his National Geographic Kids, me with Redbook- and snuggle and chat.
Shop, as in clothes--my girls are uber girlie & into it. Take them to lunch. Go to the movies with them. Bake cookies or some other sweets (preferably not all at once, then they are annoying). I like cooking with DD1. Playing board games with the older 2. Draw or do crafts with them. Listen to the older 2 read to me. Let them do my hair & makeup--DD2 really loves doing this.
Take them places that they think are fun - the zoo, science museum, children's museum, etc. Seeing them so happy and excited makes me happy too. I also still lie down with them at night to get my suggles in
This is sad but I'm racking mtg brains and can't think of anything probably because he's still such a needy Gus. I like taking him places like ILs because other people watch him for a bit, but that's kind of the opposite of enjoying things *with* him
I love playing with him on his bedroom floor. We do tummy time, we practice sitting up, we play with toys, and I help him stand and dance haha. It's lots of fun.
I also love taking him places and seeing his reaction. Right now he's always sort of wide-eyed and "whoa!" when we go to new places and it's so cute ha.
Go into his room at night when he's supposed to be sleeping, but he can't sleep, and letting him get up and come back downstairs. It's a big treat for him.
She gets so excited for peekaboo. She peeks around the end of her crib and then waits for you to do it and then repeat. Each time she sees you, she squeals!
I'm still at the point where a hint of independence is a novelty, so I love it when he gets set up and happily plays for a while. The kitchen sink is still a big winner.
Early morning snuggles and nursing are pretty enjoyable.
Going places for him and seeing how excited he is - playgrounds, the zoo.
I love watching my daughter pretend. Sometimes she includes me, but not always. I also enjoy singing with her while we do other things.
Talking with the baby is tons of fun right now. He has great facial expressions. Sometimes he gets really serious as he babbles, as if he is sharing something of great importance, and other times he just shrieks and giggles like I am the funniest person he has ever met.

Going to the zoo, going to the park and getting ice cream, doing puzzles, playing with play dough, painting, coloring, reading to her (most of the time.) I'm a working mom and we still read 20+ books/day.

Your post made me look forward to raising my daughter!

One of our favorite things to do in the summer is to pack a picnic and head to the beach after work. We usually do that together when DH is traveling. On our way there, she squeals and says, "I'm so excited!!"
Going to the zoo. Going to the playground, Reading stories ( he is at the age where he wants me to read the same board books over and over and is very serious about it. I love watching him absorb the information like a sponge. ) Being silly, Making new foods for him to try, Going to the Discovery Museum, When I put him to bed every night I brush his hair using hand over hand and then he takes the brush and gets all happy to brush my hair. It's so sweet.

DS is still young, so we don't really do a whole lot. My favorite time is bath time though. He loves sitting in his tub and getting massaged. H and I die of cuteness every time and pat ourselves on the back for making such an awesome baby.

Going to children's museums, zoos, cool new playgrounds, etc. Anyplace they can run around and have fun. I just love experiencing it through their eyes.
I also love the summer weekend we go to the neighborhood spray park. Tons of fun cooling off and then a picnic lunch, followed by a long nap at home. It's an awesome time for everyone.
We don't "do" much aside from the normal stuff like going to the park or playing at home. I like taking my older kid to the veggies co-op pick up so she learns more about our food. She also adores riding the train with me to my weight watchers meeting. Taking the bus home is also a huge treat!
Next year I hope we can enjoy more fun family times. Right now we don't do much since my younger child is pretty fussy.

I love cooking and baking with DD1. She loves to help and gets so excited to mix and pour.
I love reading to DD2. She just recently got very interested in books and sits wide-eyed every time we read now. She also likes to snuggle me while I read

DD loves Starbucks. I buy a coffee for me and a chocolate milk box for her. We sit in the armchairs next to the window and talk about what we see outside or mess around with the board games they have there. I can tell she feels like such a grown-up - she says, "We are ladies having coffee!"
We also like baking together - like someone else said, she likes mixing and pouring. Also "hatching" eggs as she calls it. We are bored a lot now that it's not nice outside and have been making lots of stuff... I'm blaming my excessive 3rd tri weight gain on this hobby ;D
She's also wayyyyy into hide and seek. I think she'd play it all day if she could. She has the same 2 hiding spots but it's fun anyway.
*Dance parties in the family room when we all need a pick me up. We all dance on the furniture. This ritual can improve the worst of moods.
*DS1 and I are working our way through the Harry Potter series (we are almost done with book 4), and reading the series again with a kid who is super into it is SO much fun for me. Reading to DS1 in the evening has become my favorite time of day.
*Going to the zoo/aquarium/natural history museum. I was a bio major, and I am a sucker for that stuff. DS1 is a super sciency kid and totally fascinated with animals. I love it.
*Going to the movies. I have always loved going to the movies. The fact that my kids are old enough to go to movies with us now is the best.
*Family movie nights at home. It has been particularly fun for DH and I to watch some old 80s/90s movies with them--Star Wars, Space Camp, Home Alone, etc. Most Friday nights we order pizza, throw an old blanket over our king size bed, and then the four of us curl up and eat pizza out of the box and watch a movie together. It is the perfect way to decompress after a long week.
*Snuggling in our bed on weekend mornings. With a boy curled up on each side of me. Love.
*Vacations. So fun to watch them experience new places and see it through their eyes.
I love going out for afterschool pastries with DD. She usually gets something over the top like a macaron stuffed with raspberries and cream while I get a small financier or a croissant. I usually get coffee, too.
I also love hanging out at the bookstore with DD. We each grab big piles of books we want to check out and sit down in the kids' area together. Sometimes I read books to her, sometimes we just browse side by side. We used to do this at the library at home, too, but the library here totally intimidates me.
We have memberships to lots of places in our city and I love to use them to take the kids to fun places like our local indoor play place, the zoo, the children's museum, dino dig at the history museum. With the memberships, I don't care if we're only there an hour and leave. The kids have a great time and i love watching them have fun.
