If my child and nanny are out for the day, do I have to pay for her lunch? I leave money for my child, but I wasn't sure about her. These aren't child excursions - mostly errands/shopping that she wants to do.
ETA: Sometimes a parent has me take a kid out to lunch, and they give me enough money for both of us. This is what I would expect. But if we just happen to be out at lunch time, then no I would buy the kid food with money from their parent and if I needed or wanted food I would use my own money.
In the situation you describe the nanny would pay her own way. My kids eat at home and if my nanny wants to run an errand over lunch then she would also pay for my kids. I pay for lunch when the kids have birthdays (they have pizza parties).
