I need help selecting pendant lights for over the bar. I'm not even sure what "look" I should go with. Whatever it is, it has to be relatively small, as there's not a lot of room between the ceiling and the bar top. What type/shape of light would go good here? Im definitely leaning toward a brushed nickel fixture as the sink is nickel and the cabinet pulls will be silver. Any thoughts or pictures?
I was actually pendant shopping yesterday and sent myself a million links! Here are some that may or may not work for you. Some have various sized stems so you can determine the length; the others are flushmount.
This!!! We have it and it's really a huge focal point/ conversation starter. In our space, the smaller version may be better, not sure. It lets off a ton of light. And we put ours on a dimmer which is fabulous. (eta, the one I posted is the smaller one. We have the bigger one)
On another note, I looooooove your cabinets. Do u know where they are from or the name of the color?

No way! I pinned this a while ago convinced I was going to buy it for our kitchen but have since talked myself out of it. Now you're making me question that decision!

You have to get it. I love it in person more than the pics. And the amount of lighting is fantastic!! Also I like that it will likely never go out of style since its not modern.
Eta: if anyone buys this, make sure to get the bulbs on amazon or a lighting store. They were hard for me to fine. Also plan to screw the lids on for an hour. They were hard to get on straight.

I have always loved these jar pendants- but i don't think these would work for hanging over the bar top. There really is only about 4 feet roughly, of space there. I think its got to be a mini pendant of some sort. I just went down to see if there were any markings on the cabinets- there aren't. We got them from a local place called Farha's carpet and flooring, and they are fantastic quality and we got them for a fraction of what Star Lumber quoted us. I think they are maple wood, with a cherry finish. HTH!
Here is a picture of ours, although, they are oil rubbed bronze. But the coloring of the cabinets are similar. Also, they don't hang too far down, so it would work well with the shorter clearance.
One more question. What type of countertop did you do with those cabinets?
We did travertine (Durango honed) for the countertops. They are beautiful and I can take a close-up if you are interested! Also, as we clean up the area this weekend (we are prepping for carpet) I'll keep my eye out for any packing receipts or labels on those cabinets.

Wow your bar rocks! Seriously, that's so nice. I do love your lights- and it gives me a good perspective on how the lights will look when hung, your bar to ceiling clearance seems to be similar to ours. Thank you!
