Okay, token, I have to laugh at the red legged tantrum. Sorry, it would suck to be a part of but it is funny to imagine. I am sure my kid has red legs often too.
this week, we realized babyBAMF is ticklish ;D and he is a master at putting his leg through the slats of his crib. I'll be installing his mesh bumper this weekend. He'll push his legs up to his chest and then slam them back down and he moves around his crib that way. I put him down horizontally and when I go to pick him up, he has managed to get vertical. I have no idea why he stops once he is sideways, because he's rapidly running out of space to fit that direction!
DS (9mo) discovered his littlebits and LOVES tugging at them. Diaper changes have been fun.
DD (almost 3yo) has been calling me out a lot. She's so quick. IF I tell her not to do something and she sees me do it, she's in my face about. I remember when I was so excited that she started talking. Now she's talking AND over analyzing!

DD #2 just got home from a birthday party, where she stayed the entire 2 hours without me and didn't even bother to kiss me goodbye...she just went in and ran off with her friends! Usually she begs me to stay at parties so that she can come by and check in every once in a while, and we've really been working on her independence/self-confidence. So today was huge for her (and me)!
DS is adorable lately. He is really big into giving me hugs. He was anti & cude from 9 months- 1 year. Now he will just walk over and give me a hug and a kiss. Also he is so brave, he was a little afraid at first on the carousel today, then a little girl next to him held his hand, & he got so brave & loved the whole ride. He was so proud.
DS has figured out how to make this motorboat/plane sound, like a wet BRRRRRRR raspberry sound. It's the cutest thing I have ever heard. When he wakes up in the mornings, I hear rustle rustle rustle "Ah-Va! Ah-Va! BRRRRRRR." He also does this pig snort face that cracks DH up every time and DS knows it. DS will be eating or getting his diaper changed, and DH will come into the room with his standard greeting of "hey little man!" to which DS replies SNORT SNORT SNORT. It's so fun to interact with him as he makes sounds on purpose.
