I'm actually a little nervous even though I've been out to dinner with him before. I'm wearing a short skirt and a fun top this time around instread of wearing denim.
If LLL and/or Cleo is here they'll remember the shoes I'm wearing tonight. I wore them to our dinner last year.
Wish me luck that I don't trip in my heels and break my neck. lol

The date was great. Dinner was good, the show was good and we laughed a lot. The weather was nice too so he had the top down on the Mercedes and I didn't mind it when my hair blew around. It looked fabulous once I smoothed it down. lol Yeah, we had a real good time.

Not sure yet. he lives out of town, plus he works a week on/week off schedule at a "remote" site (20 minutes by air from Anchorage) so we don't see each other very often. We text and e-mail a lot though. His son lives in Anchorage, so he does make it here on a regular basis. Not sure when we'll be meeting up again.
He got us AWESOME seats to the show (which was good BTW). We were in the first row on the aisle. I have never been that close to a Broadway musical before. It was amazing.

Not our first date. We went out for dinner last month.
I used to work with him--I first met 26 years ago. I've always liked him. He's smart and funny--wicked sense of humor. Well, I liked all the guys I worked with then, but he always stuck out to me. He was pretty rough around the edges in those days.
His wife had an anuerysm about 15 years ago that put her in a coma. She was never quite the same when she came out of it. She passed about 2-1/2 years ago, which I had heard about through the grapevine. My DH had passed away 18 months before that so I sent him a sympathy card. I saw him at a work site a year later. We agreed that we should do lunch sometime. He sent me a work e-mail message not long after that. A year later I came across the message, and I thought I'd send him an e-mail back to tease him about his not taking me out to lunch. He called me on my cell the follow day. lol He told me the reason why he hadn't contact me again was because he thought I was probably going out with someone. I assured him that I wasn't, so we went out for dinner about a week later. After our dinner date, he texted me that he had tickets to the show and would I like to go. I promptly accepted.
