Is anyone else disappointed with the coverage of the Harmony line? It seems like it takes twice as much paint to get the right coverage. The end result is great, but I'm not sure that it is worth the extra cost. I don't know if it is the paint or the textured walls that is causing my problem. Sadly I bought paint for all of my rooms at their last sale, so I'm stuck with this stuff.

Did you get it all tinted? If not, I'd think you could probably return/exchange it.
I've never had coverage issues, and I had to cover a dark mushroom color once. Walls that hadn't ever been painted other than the initial builder's paint sucked up a little more than walls from the 1950s, but it still only took 2 coats.
Really? We've never had issues with Harmony and have used it across most of our house with one coat + touch up areas. Even on our painted wood paneling we only needed one coat.
Maybe it is just the paint that the old owners used? There are spots where I have done 2 coats and the white still is showing.
It took a whole gallon to paint our 12 foot long hallway and 2 gallons to paint our small living room. This is all going from white/cream to tan or gray.
We used the HGTV paint at our old home and it was so thick that I only had to do one coat (even for our chocolate brown room). Maybe it just spoiled me.
I've found even with the best paints if you're going over old or bad paint you'll use more.
We were told per the listing that our house had been painted within the last 2 years. Unfortunately it was crap paint and a lot rooms took a lot of paint bc of it. I'm also not sure when the last time walls were painted before them. I know none of the closets were ever painted after they built the house.
