Went in today, hoping what you said was all LIES!!!! You were right, though, nothing impressive. They had some cute/cheap jewel toned stemware and serveware, but that's about it. They even had the exact same mirror-mosaic Christmas trees that I bought about 4 years ago, so that was fun. :-| I did walk away with a cart full, though- I had to get a curtain and rod, towels, waste basket, soap dispenser and all the goods for our new bathroom downstairs. So my trip wasn't a total waste!
LOL at the Jesus Snowglobes! Jhawks: I warned you. And never fear either. Just because I whined yesterday, doesn't mean I still didn't buy like $200.00 worth of stuff myself! But in my defense, H needed a new electric razor and those bad boys are like $80.00 alone. 3 pairs of track pants, headphones, dollar spot art supplies for Rubes, a couple gift cards and some other random junk all wandered in the cart too.
I think they have had the snowflake dishes with silver every year since 2007! I bought some it for our wedding in 2009.
Ha! Those I actually like. My mom has the set and she uses them a lot in winter. As a result she keeps stocking up because they break pretty easy for her. She just made the comment, "I've been buying these for 5 years. I keep stocking up thinking they'll be gone one of these years!"
I did find the super slim tree I was looking for, on sale for $50 down from $65. Keeping it in the box until after black friday to make sure I can't find something better. They also had a good variety of soft ornaments for me to put at the bottom of the tree.

We were just at Target yesterday and I was all disappointed in the Christmas section. But they have their other "designer" Christmas section near the throw pillows and blankets which was a big improvement. Wound up with a wreath, which I love, and a mini Christmas tree for R's office.
I went to Michaels yesterday with the intention of DIYing a wreath and had to leave because it was CRAZY in there.
