Jenny, I believe it was you who said this in response to someone's (Brie's, maybe?) post a couple weeks ago. And thank you, because knowing that this behavior is apparently a "thing" is really helping me trudge through. E has been a little PITA for basically the last week solid. The week before last, he hit what I'm pretty sure was the six-week growth spurt; he was eating constantly and wanted to be held all the time, meaning I was stuck to the couch, but overall it wasn't that bad. But then since last Monday, he's just cranky and fussy practically all the time. And he pretty much will not stay asleep for any decent period during the day, resulting in a ridiculously overtired and cranky baby.
Oddly, he's super cheerful and sweet while we get him ready for bed. And he's still going to sleep pretty easily at night. But my god, it sucks having a yawning sourpuss all day.
You guys all say this gets better. I can't wait. Also, is noon on a Sunday to early for a drink? :-(
