We got our nephew a NASA space suit from the Smithsonian Institute gift store. I would have loved that when I was a kid!
I also got my brother a really cool sign from Etsy that has a bunch of different beer types on it, looks like the Restoration Hardware subway stop sign. Etsy has been a great resource for unique gifts that are reasonably priced, plus I feel great supporting small businesses when I shop there.
My step mother is getting a 'hugs and kisses keeper' that DS painted at a pottery place filled with kisses (she loves being grandma). ILs are getting tickets to see the Gaithers and a gc for dinner (they have too much junk). Nephews are getting a pair of nice sneakers as part of their gift. They're really into shoes right now.
The only gift I know about so far is hand-knit slippers.
Last year I didn't give people slippers, and I've heard about it all year... (not in a "gimme slippers", but in a "my poor old slippers are wearing out" kind of way... it's not been annoying, but it has made it evident that people really want more slippers)
I'm not sure we'll be doing anything else, to be honest. Maybe something for the littler kids (one niece and two nephews).
