I really like it, but I find that I just don't drink it that often. Last year I didn't even get an egg nog latte because of the calories. I did get a giant one on my crappy birthday, though, and at that point, it was the highlight of my day.
I usually will buy a half gallon close to Christmas and drink most of it before it goes bad, but that's it.

There are several ways I like it. With Sprite (which is surprisingly good - DH introduced me to that one), with brandy (my favorite), or with Southern Comfort. Mmmmm.
Either that or plain.
But it has to be the good stuff. Homemade is even better.
i clicked "nope, not under any circumstance"...but it's really closer to "i really don't like it. a lot. i think it's gross, but i'll have a sip or two to make people happy around the holidays".

This is pretty much how I feel too. I REALLY don't like it. WAY too sweet. But if someone makes it I will have a few sips to be polite.

Not too sweet if it's 1/2 liquor 1/2 eggnog or 1/2 7-up/Sprite 1/2 eggnog, or 1/2 coffee 1/2 eggnog. Or try 3/4 other 1/4 eggnog.
You're talking to a girl who thinks vodka cranberry or gin & tonics are too sweet. My drink of choice is vodka soda, flavored by only a squeeze of lime.

I did SS.....Last year I tried this Organic Eggnog with natural ingredients and it was sooooo delicious. I couldn't get enough of it. But prior to trying that, I hated eggnog.....
I like it, but never finish a quart by myself and H hates it. I usually buy the lowfat (which means I can't buy organic because I haven't found them making that version) because regular was too thick for my dairy sensitivity. This will be the first year I can't even have any! I did see the Silk brand UWHusky posted and I'm tempted...but I would still be the only one drinking it so it's not worth the higher cost.
I'll drink it if its available. I don't normally go out in search of it. My h normally keeps a quart in the fridge though as he loves the stuff. I only drink the full fat version because I find that light tastes awful to me. I don't drink enough f it to really care about the calorie count.
Ik, I'm the only one that drinks egg nogg and I could finish an entire thing of the silk nogg myself. Its way lighter tasting than real nogg. Its really good. Id recommend it and I'm buying it again!

I'm so glad to hear that other people cut their eggnog with 7-Up. DH thought I was nuts when I did that. I introduced his BIL to it and he likes it too. DH's family cuts it with milk. Blech!
Any recommendations for an Eggnog that already comes with liquor? I was at Safeway yesterday and I saw a bottle but was hesitant to get it...
That would scare me.
+1. Tbh . The eggnog that comes in as certain is dinner. It's not as good as home made, but it's perfectly serviceable. Pour some rum or whiskey in it and call it a day.
