you know how yesterday I asked about babies taking naps between every bottle?
Well we are about to approach bottle #3 this morning with zero naps in between....WTF IS HAPPENING? Must be the 3-6 month onesie I put her in this morning, making her think she's a grown up baby now!

You know Lilly and Marshall from HIMYM? Dh and I always joke we're them - down to getting ku at the same time (just home from in NYC) even. We just watched the episode where that hadn't had sex in ages because the baby cried every.single.time they touched each other. We were both staring open mouthed at the screen because we'd literally had a conversation about this annoying problem before playing the episode. Its freaky
I fell asleep nursing C on my side this morning, inspired by the thread the other day. I only woke up when H put him back in the RNP.
I worked out 6 days last week and didn't lose a flipping pound. I still have 25 pounds of pregnancy weight plus 10-15 more to get down to where I want to be. I have a feeling I'll be one of those people who can't lose weight while BFing. Ugh.
DS is super into high fives now (I know the older daycare kids have been teaching him). It's pretty adorable. He does his puzzle, then demands applause and high fives. He high fived people at church for the passing of the peace time. I love it.
Also, I sort of want to SAH now. I am going to go back to work to at least try it out for a few months, but we are getting in a good groove and my PPD is under control and I love spending time with C.
With the way I've been eating the past 2 weeks plus all the food that's already in the office for the holidays, I'm going to gain back every ounce I lost since having this baby! Don't even get me started on the spread that'll be at Thanksgiving. We're Italian and it's as if we only eat once a year with the amount of food that is cooked for one day!!!
I have a love/hate relationship with the holidays for this very reason!
My bloat has added another couple of inches over the weekend. It totally out of control. Dh reminds me to suck it up in public, but it doesn't suck in anymore. Omg you guys, it's embarrassing! I look about 3x as pg as I should.
On that note, we told dh's parents this weekend. Mine are up next. Blah. FIL's response? "We'll that's not quite Irish twins. Har de har har har." Asshole.

H and I are going away for 2 nights and I am ridiculously excited. I'm gonna miss J a lot, but he should have fun with the grandparents, who fawn all over him.
Q is obsessed with a good friend's baby who is 6 months old and she always wants to touch him. We taught them to fist bump last night (which really is her seeking out his fist and giving it a bump), which was awesome until she decided to fist bump his stomach. LOL! whoops
DS is pretty much night weaned. And sleeping better, if not yet TTN.
I thought I might feel like I should have done it sooner, but really, I feel like we did it when I was ready and he was ready. It was much less fuss than the other times I've attempted sleep training.

This was me. I felt an unhealthy need to throat punch anyone who said that the weight just fell off while BFing.

This is me! I just didn't understand how the magic of bf worked for everyone else and the pounds just didn't melt away. The weight fell completely off after I stopped BF (and then some).
so after every well check we get a thing in the mail from the doc, basically a summary of the appointment, her weight, etc. The note mentioned watching Squirmy's rapid head growth, but also mentioned concerns about her head getting flat on the back The doc did not mention that in the appt. Now I'm all worried again.
She refuses to be worn in the k'tan or ergo, so keeping her off the back of her head is a challenge, especially since she's not rolling yet.
We thought we wanted 3-4, and immediately after having DS, my husband was done. I'm giving him some time. I really don't feel like we're finished and I think a lot of his anxiety over it comes from the fact that with 3, we absolutely have to move. Now, we've decided to move in the spring anyway and DS has moved into the ridiculously cute stage.
The weight fell off of me after my first pregnancy, but this time around it's not budging. I'm hungry all the time when I'm nursing and salads just don't cut it. Oh well. I tend to be less lazy since I've had kids in other aspects of my life, hopefully that will also be the case after I wean.
I just found out that a friend of ours had a late term loss a few weeks ago. Cord accident. I've been upset for them all afternoon and feel like a total ass for complaining about not being able to take a decongestant for my cold on Facebook.
I am a ridiculously anxious mess this week for so many reasons and am glad I blew off work and life to go to yoga this morning. I am sitting at my computer now trying to make up the work, but I don't regret it at all.
I just regret that I have crap life-coping skills when I am thousands of miles away from my closest friends and family and DH is working too many hours to be much support.

dd had a flat spot as a newborn and I freaked out and bought this boppy head support thing and used it in her crib and carseat for awhile. Who knows if it made a difference. About that time PC made some inflammatory statement about not baby wearing and I never left her in the carseat in a store again (thanks?). Have your tried a sling? You can make one with a ring from ring slings.com and 2 yards of fabric. I liked it better than the ergo when she was little.

I know you said she likes to be out looking around, have you tried the Beco (I think) that she can face out in? I know KC has a babywearing group where you can rent carriers for a month to try out.
I'm going to try the ergo and k'tan again when we get back from our trip. The k'tan does have a facing out carry and I haven't tried it yet, but she has excellent head control now so it might work.

It must be hard. If yoga helps, dont feel guilty. You have to feel better.

I was annoyed at my ILs yesterday for thinking that walking a whiney baby around the house is a good answer instead of just letting us leave in the middle of dessert. It was passed her bedtime and she is feeling sick. She was a mess today. Luckily for me, I was at work. Poor nanny.
DH just got his holiday bonus, we are so relieved and EXCITED! He's gotten one every year he's been there, but we don't count on him getting one as it could evaporate anytime. I am so so SO grateful for it though. We've amassed a little CC debt while I SAH, and I'm so glad that not only will his bonus clear that off, but with money left over for Christmas, our savings, and savings for DS. YAY!!!!

Pugz- I have a Sakura bloom ring sling that I don't use much with DD these days. If you want to try a ring sling, I can bring it to the dinner in a few weeks.
